Aadhar Correction Form: Hello folks! As you know, the Aadhar, apart from being a proof of identity and address across India, permits one to avail all government subsidies one is eligible for. It also helps in opening bank accounts, getting LPG connections, mobile connections, etc. Hence, you must rectify any mistake if made during the process of Aadhar Enrolment.
Here, we shall look into the aspects, how to get the Aadhar correction form, and to fill the details carefully.
In the Aadhar Correction/ Update process, one can make changes to Name, Address, Gender, Date of Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, Fingerprint, Iris, Biometrics.
There are two ways in which it can be done: Online and Offline. You can choose any mode based on your convenience. Offline mode provides you to update all the above-mentioned categories. You can do it by personally visiting the Aadhar Enrolment Centre. To locate one, go to the official website of UIDAI.

On the homepage, select the option Update Aadhar.
Click on it to get the option Update your Aadhar Data.
Clicking on it leads you to a page that helps you find the nearest Enrolment Centre by selecting State, PIN, or other modes.
Another way to locate Enrolment center;
On the homepage of UIDAI, you will see a dropdown menu, My Aadhar >> Update Your Aadhar >> Update Your Aadhar at Enrolment/ Update Centre.
This also leads you to a page that helps you find the nearest Enrolment Centre by selecting State, PIN or other modes as explained above. Once you find the nearest Enrolment Centre, you can go there, make a request with the help of an operator. Fill up the details in the form that you want to correct/ update, attach proofs for every correction. The operator collects and stores your documents as well. You will get a special acknowledgment receipt. It will have an Update Request Number (URN) which is useful for keeping track. Online mode provides you to update only the Address/ Residential details. You will find an option on the home page, update your address online.

Another way to get to Self Serving Update Portal is Homepage >> My Aadhar>> Update your Aadhar >> Update your address online.
Using the Aadhar Self Serving Update Portal (SSUP), you can directly place the update request there. Here is the direct link for the SSUP Update your address online.
On the SSUP homepage, you will find these options: Proceed to Update your Address and Request for Address Validation Letter, depending on your situation, you should proceed with the choices.
Now that you have got the right place to update; Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Card number and fill in the captcha code.
Click on the ‘OTP’ tab to generate your One Time Password, which will be sent to the registered mobile number.
Fill in the OTP and log in. Select the fields which you need to correct, then enter the rectified details and update them.
Upload the scanned copy of the relevant document as proof for your corrections. A unique Update Request Number (URN) will now be assigned. Print the rectified form for any future reference.
